Advantages of Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers

The primary benefit of Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHEs) is their low operating and maintenance costs. Compared to cooling towers and shell-and-tube heat exchangers, air coolers offer a more environmentally friendly (“green”) solution. They do not require a continuous water supply, eliminating water loss from evaporation and drift. This makes them especially valuable in locations where water is scarce or unavailable as a cooling medium.
