More Information

Note: A heat exchanger can be added to each arrangement to allow the wet tower to operate with water while the ACHE utilizes closed loop fluids.

A combination dry and wet cooling system combines features of dry (air cooled) and wet (evaporative) cooling equipment in a series or parallel arrangement. Its purpose is to reduce water consumption, visible plume, and environmental impact while maintaining heat rejection performance close to that of a conventional wet cooling tower.

Minimum Approach Temperature:

Achievable Cold Water Temperature > 5 Degrees Above Design Wet bulb Temperature – Wet Section

Achievable Cold Water Temperature > 10 Degrees Above Design Dry bulb Temperature – Dry Section
